The 11th International Aquarium Congress ended on 3 November 2022 with a declaration of commitment from the aquariums.
At the end of 4 days of work and more than 80 presentations, 200 aquariums, based on 5 continents, drew up 3 main lines of action:
- raising awareness and mobilising their audiences
- commitment to the United Nations’ sustainable development objectives through the Decade of Ocean Sciences
- setting up educational and scientific programmes.
