The restaurants recommended with this logo are all partners of the MrGoodFish programme. This is a European programme which aims to raise public and professional awareness of the importance of sustainable consumption of seafood.

It was launched by three of Europe’s biggest aquariums (Acquario di Genova in Italy, Aquarium Finisterrae in Spain and Nausicaá – National Sea Centre in France). This means that as well as offering high-quality fish, these restaurants are also committed to obtaining supplies of marine resources in a sustainable way. The dishes they serve are based on varieties of fish which have been selected according to their stock level and size, the season, and the status of the species.

The restaurant guide produced by the Tourist Office of Le Boulonnais en Côte d’Opale lists the restaurants available in Boulogne sur Mer and the surrounding area.
